Reviews & Ratings — Yatra WordPress travel booking plugin (free feature)

Why Reviews & Ratings matters for tour operators

TrustPilot / Trustindex / Yotpo subscriptions cost $25–$200/month and don't natively know what trip you sold. Native reviews tied to actual booking records are more authentic and zero-cost.

What changes once Reviews & Ratings is on

Concrete operational outcomes — not feature checkboxes.

  • Customers submit a star rating + body via the trip page.
  • Moderation queue — approve before public display.
  • Per-trip rating aggregation feeds search-result and listing-card star displays.
  • Schema markup for Google rich-results (yellow stars in SERP).
  • Verified-purchase flag — reviews from customers with a confirmed booking are tagged "verified".

Can I disable reviews on specific trips?
Yes — per-trip toggle in the trip's Advanced settings.
Will the AggregateRating schema actually surface as yellow stars in Google?
Google decides. If the schema is valid and your site has enough authority, yes. The schema is correct out of the box — the rest is your overall SEO health.
How is this different from native WordPress comments?
Yatra reviews include a star rating (WP comments don't), aggregate for the AggregateRating schema, and tie to actual bookings for verified-purchase status.
