Meta ads that learn from your actual bookings.

Browser + server-side Conversions API. Per-event toggles.

Drop the Meta Pixel in three clicks. Fire ViewContent, InitiateCheckout, Purchase, AddPaymentInfo automatically. Server-side Conversions API survives iOS 14.5+, ad-blockers, and cookie deletions. Per-event toggles to control what you share.

Why this matters

Browser-side pixel alone loses 30–50% of events to iOS's App Tracking Transparency, content blockers, and cookie purges. Meta's Conversions API (server-side) recovers those events — but most operators never set it up because the docs are a 40-step Zapier-esque labyrinth. Yatra automates the whole thing.

What changes once Facebook Pixel is on

Concrete operational outcomes — not feature checkboxes.

  • Browser-side pixel fires standard e-commerce events automatically (ViewContent, AddPaymentInfo, InitiateCheckout, Purchase).
  • Server-side Conversions API mirrors every event — captures iOS / ad-blocker / cookieless users.
  • Per-event toggles — share Purchase but not ViewContent if you prefer.
  • Event Match Quality dashboard — Meta's scoring inside Yatra's admin.
  • Refund event auto-fires when you process a refund in Yatra → spend efficiency back to honest.

What you get

Every surface, every toggle, every audit trail — covered.

Browser pixel

Auto-injected on every catalog + booking page. Standard event names — your ad campaigns work without re-mapping.

Conversions API

Server-side mirror. Yatra hashes customer email + phone (Meta's spec) and posts events directly. No middleware.

Per-event control

Toggles for each event — turn off ViewContent if you find it too noisy; keep Purchase + AddToCart on.

Refund handling

Refunds in Yatra trigger Meta Refund events automatically. Spend efficiency reflects reality, not pre-refund revenue.

Event quality dashboard

EMQ score per event surfaced inside Yatra's admin. Improvements flow back instantly.

How you turn it on

No engineering. Open Yatra → Modules, toggle, follow the wizard.

  1. 1

    Create the Pixel

business.facebook.com → Events Manager → Create Pixel. Get the Pixel ID.

  2. 2

    Generate CAPI access token

Events Manager → Settings → Conversions API → Generate access token. Copy.

  3. 3

    Paste into Yatra

Yatra → Modules → Facebook Pixel → toggle on. Paste Pixel ID + access token. Click Test event.

  4. 4

    Verify in Events Manager

Take a test booking. Events appear in Meta's Test Events tool within 30s.

Questions before you upgrade

Do I need to know Facebook ads to set this up?
No. Yatra fires the standard events Meta's ad system expects. If you have a Meta ad account, the events arrive automatically. If you don't run ads yet, the pixel still tracks events for when you do start.
What about GDPR / consent?
You're responsible for collecting consent (a cookie-banner plugin like CookieYes or Complianz handles this). Yatra fires the pixel respecting your site's consent state — it does not bypass consent management.
Can I use this and Google Analytics 4 at the same time?
Yes — they're independent modules. Both run side-by-side without conflict.
