Is a digital signature legally binding?
In most jurisdictions yes (US ESIGN Act, EU eIDAS, UK ECA). Yatra stores signature image + IP + UA + timestamp — what courts accept as proof of intent. Check with your local legal counsel for jurisdiction specifics.
Can a parent sign for a minor traveler?
Yes — the form can be configured to allow guardian signatures. The signature field captures the signing party's name + relationship.
What if a customer refuses to sign?
They can't complete the booking. The form blocks payment. This is the point — your guides need signatures for insurance reasons.
